DAY VOLUNTEERS
Join us for a meaningful and joyful experience furthering the most important work of Camphill Village. As a day volunteer you will participate in our community of adults with developmental differences and make an impact in their lives, as well as your own!

Is the Day Volunteer Program Right for Me?
That depends. Do you want to improve the lives of adults with developmental differences? Develop lasting friendships? Maybe you’re interested in learning about biodynamic agriculture, or maybe you’re not sure what suits you.

Day volunteers have the benefit of being able to choose from an array of workplaces with different activities, like seeding in our greenhouses, helping with livestock, and maintaining flower beds.

Some examples of our volunteering opportunities:
Livestock Agriculture
handmilking dairy cows, preparing fencing, loading hay bales, sweeping barns, herding sheep
Healing Plant Garden
seeding in the greenhouse, planting, caring for plant beds, harvesting
Vegetable Garden
seeding, watering plants, weeding, harvesting for the garden market
Running Errands
(gas reimbursement included)
